American Football NFL NFL Playoffs NFL Wildcard Weekend

Let the wild weekend of the NFL begin.

By FanBabblePat

As the weather is cooling down in the US the NFL is heating up starting this week with the wild card weekend. Six of the most anticipated games of this season will be played this weekend starting with the Las Vegas Raiders away to the Cincinnati Bengals and finishing on Tuesday (Australian time) with the Arizona Cardinals away to the LA Rams.

Las Vegas Raiders v Cincinnati Bengals: Well this is going to be a cracking game to say the least. Both teams are on a 10-7 record leading into this game.  I honestly think that the Bengals will beat the Raiders as the Bengals this season have already done this away and the loss that Cincinnati had ion their last game against the browns would have lit a fire up their backsides.

Saying that you can never write off the silver and black of the Raiders especially with the likes of Maxx Crosby in the lineup. Crosby leads a defense that I think could shut down Burrow ands force him to a lot of things that he wouldn’t normally do.

This game will be Offence v Defense and who ever does show up will win this game.

New England Patriots v Buffalo Bills: Well this is game being the replay of the week 16 shitshow (if your Patriots fan) is going to be the best game by far this weekend as Mac Jones is out to prove both the media and all the nay Sayers wrong. He needs to stop worrying about the scoreboard and start worrying about what’s in front of him. When the opposition scores 25 or points per game he crumbles to the tune of 0-4 and he also have given up 9 of 12 interceptions when he’s trailing. Mac here’s some advice when your down think the game is at 0-0 and you might just surprise your self by getting back into a game or two.

AS for the Bill they have been the form team in the AFC East. Only dropping 6 games but amassing a 194 points differential this season pus they have had the Patriots number at every turn. According to all the media and the betting agencies Buffalo going into this game as the favorites by pick will be the Patriots in a lose one.

Philadelphia Eagles v Tampa Bay Buccaneers: What else can I say after moving to the retirement village that is Tampa Bay old man Brady has made it his own. Winning the Superbowl last year was an achievement but without Antonio Brown can they repeat the feat? I thank they will give it a good crack however the Philly team will be a tough test especially with the Australian born Jordan Mailata in ranks it will be a difficult assignment.

I personally will be going for Philly as their tough and gritty play is what has got them through this year.

San Francisco 49ers v Dallas Cowboys: Well much could be said about Americas team but this year they have been very hard to beat Jerry World. San Francisco come in with the better record but being at home in Arlington I say will be too much of a task for the boys from the bay area.

Could this be the year that the Cowboys make a run? Only timer will tell.

Pittsburgh Steelers v Kansas City Chiefs: Well this has the makings for a barn burner could this be the final season for “big” Ben Roethlisberger, or could this be the time of the upstart Patrick Mahomes? I want Pittsburgh to win this so Roethlisberger gets to go out on a high. A veteran of the league and all-round good guy who has done what most people haven’t. I also have a huge dislike for Mahomes and not because he is good but because he played for Texas Tech but being a home game for the Chiefs faithful Mahomes and the chiefs will be too strong for the Steelers.

Prove me wrong Ben, Prove me wrong.

Arizona Cardinals v La Rams: Really have no idea about this one. It could go either way.

I am also not too interested in this one as it will be close but the score line will have more to say than what the game will.
